With over two decades of experience in design and marketing, Marques has become a distinguished leader in the creative industry, celebrated for seamlessly blending artistic vision with strategic execution.

A graduate of Missouri State University, Marques showcased his talent early on by contributing to a 1st-place Midwest Division victory and an 8th-place national ranking in the American Advertising Federation Competition for Toyota. His career began as a freelance graphic designer, where his exceptional skills quickly earned him regional contracts. His knack for developing innovative campaigns propelled him into the role of Creative Director, attracting prestigious marketing partnerships along the way.

Throughout his career, Marques has led successful campaigns for a diverse range of brands, including Tidal, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Jay-Z’s creative team. As a creative lead for Sprint, Marques played a pivotal role in integrating Tidal into Sprint’s retail spaces nationwide. At T-Mobile, he led out-of-home (OOH) and local marketing efforts, crafting innovative advertising strategies for both T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile. His deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies allows him to design campaigns that deeply resonate with audiences.

Today, Marques leads Messenger Ink, his own creative consulting firm. The firm has delivered impactful work for high-profile clients such as NBC/Universal (creating logos for nationally televised shows like CHASE), Bedrock Detroit, UMKC, Community Builders, Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, and the Black Women’s Health Initiative, among others. Recently, Messenger Ink played a key role in helping WeDevelopment Federal Credit Union secure its charter by devising a marketing strategy approved by the NCUA.
